Spicy pork with hot Thai basil

Prepare the ingredients like in the picture and if you can’t find Thai holy basil you can use sweet basil instead.

Use a mortar and pestle to pound the garlic and chilies paste. Set a side for later.

Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan or a wok over high heat. Add the garlic and chili paste and cook for another 30 seconds. Then add the sliced pork and stir-fry 3-4minutes or until the pork is cooked. Add oyster sauce, fish sauce and sugar and stir-fry until well combined.

Now through the holy basil and remove from the heat.

To serve, put the rice in serving plate and put the stir-fried pork on top, Serve with a crispy fried egg and cucumbers or some vegetables you like. *Note. Use less chilli for a milder dish
