Homemade fudge frosting

saucepan, rubber spatula, bowl, plastic wrap, hand mixer with beaters

- 440 g bittersweet chocolate
 - 240 g confectioner’s sugar
 - 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
 - ½ tsp salt
 - 360 ml heavy cream
 - 250 g unsalted butter
 - 2 tsp vanilla extract
 
- saucepan
 - rubber spatula
 - bowl
 - plastic wrap
 
Add bittersweet chocolate, confectioner’s sugar, unsweetened cocoa powder, salt, heavy cream, butter, and vanilla extract to a saucepan. Heat over low heat, stirring constantly, until all ingredients are melted and combined. Transfer to a bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Let cool to room temperature, and refrigerate for approx. 30 min.

Before using, whip with a hand mixer until fluffy. Use for cakes, cupcakes, and more!
