FAQs – Recipe Importer

1. I tried to import a recipe, but it didn’t work. What should I do?
2. The ingredients look incomplete or incorrect after import. Why?
3. Why can’t I import recipes from Facebook?
4. Why do I see ‘unsupported link’ when importing from [website]?

I tried to import a recipe, but it didn’t work. What should I do?

This can happen for different reasons (e.g. the source isn’t recognized as a recipe or the quality isn’t high enough). First, try logging out and back into the app, then attempt the import again. If it still doesn’t work, please contact our support team and share the exact recipe link so we can investigate.

The ingredients look incomplete or incorrect after import. Why?

Recipe import works best with major recipe platforms. Smaller blogs or sites with unusual formats may not always be recognized correctly. For videos, ingredients can appear incomplete if they aren’t mentioned in the text or caption.

Why can’t I import recipes from Facebook?

Facebook imports aren’t supported yet. If the same recipe is shared on Instagram, try importing that link instead.

Why do I see ‘unsupported link’ when importing from [website]?

Some websites use extra privacy or security settings that block imports. If the recipe is also available on Instagram or TikTok, importing from there usually works.
