I canceled my trial before it ended, but I was still charged. Why?
When you start a 7-day free trial, you can use Kitchen Stories Plus at no cost. If you don’t want to continue with a subscription afterwards, you need to cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
If you cancel later, the App Store or Play Store may have already queued the payment, and you could still be charged. If this happens, please contact Apple support or Google support directly to request a refund.
I subscribed by mistake, I didn’t mean to start the yearly plan, can I get a refund?
All yearly plans start with a 7-day free trial, giving you time to explore Kitchen Stories Plus before being charged. If you don’t want to continue, simply cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends to avoid payment. Once the first payment is processed, refunds for subscriptions made in the app can only be handled by Apple or Google.
I canceled my subscription, but I was still charged. What now?
To avoid being charged for the next billing period, cancellations must be made more than 24 hours before the renewal date (for both monthly and yearly plans).
If you cancel later, the App Store or Play Store may have already queued the payment, and you could still be charged. If this happens, please contact Apple support or Google support directly to request a refund.
How do I cancel my subscription?
It should be quick and easy:
1. Log in with the email you used for your subscription.
2. Go to your profile → Account → Manage Subscription.
3. You’ll be redirected to the App Store or Play Store, where you can cancel.
Alternatively, you can go directly to your App Store or Play Store account settings to manage subscriptions.
I bought a subscription but it’s not showing up in the app. What should I do?
If you subscribed in the app, make sure you’re logged in with the same email/account you used when subscribing.
Go to your profile → Account to check if your subscription appears.
If you don’t see it, try logging in with another email address or your Apple/Google account (you may have accidentally created a second account).
If the issue persists, please contact us with your purchase receipt.
If you subscribed via our website, you can cancel by clicking the cancellation link in your confirmation email.
How do I cancel my subscription if I switched devices (iOS ↔ Android)?
Your subscription is always managed through the app store where you originally subscribed. Even if you switch devices, the billing continues through the original store.
If you subscribed in the Apple App Store (iOS) but now use Android:
– Go to Apple ID Subscriptions in any browser and sign in with the Apple ID you used to subscribe.
– From there, you can view and cancel your subscription.
– Alternatively, you can cancel via iTunes on a computer or contact Apple Support for help.
If you subscribed in the Google Play Store (Android) but now use iOS:
– Go to Google Play Subscriptions in any browser and sign in with the Google account you used to subscribe.
– From there, you can view and cancel your subscription.
– Alternatively, you can cancel in the Google Play app (if you still have access to an Android device) or contact Google Support for help.
Important: Canceling must always be done through the original store (Apple or Google). We cannot cancel subscriptions on your behalf.
I tried to use my TK voucher code, but it didn’t work and I was charged after a trial.
TK codes can only be redeemed if you don’t have an active trial or subscription. If you already do, you’ll need to cancel it first. After cancellation, you can redeem your TK code by following the steps described here.
