Carnivore baby trend: What does this latest trend mean?
Parents are choosing meat-based foods for their babies, and opinions are divided
Carnivore babies are viral: Trend that is becoming more and more popular among parents of today. To follow the trend, the instructions are quite simple: Less baby food, more types of meat. The set of parents who are following the trend are replacing conventional baby food with beef, bone marrow, and mostly meat products.
Is the carnivore diet really good for babies?
There is much support for the trend from celebrities to the parents who are actively following it; mainly because it apparently is helping with the appetite for the young ones, but also for the amount of “primal” nutrition meat dishes bring to a toddler’s table.
Doctors on the other hand, are warning the parents who are following the trend to keep moderation in mind within a carnivore based diet for babies. Even though various meats in one’s diet do have many nutritional benefits, everyone (especially babies) need much more complex vitamins and minerals from other food.
Well rounded diets, for babies specifically, need carbohydrates, sugars from fruit, a good amount of fiber, and nutrients from vegetables as well. Parents of carnivore babies are quite happy with the choice of swapping baby food with meat, however the internet’s decision is still to be made fully.
