- ⅓ lime
 - ⅔ cloves garlic
 - 26⅔ ml light soy sauce
 - ⅓ tbsp honey
 - 1⅓ tbsp vegetable oil

- bowl (large)
 - whisk
 - juicer
 - cutting board
 - knife

For the marinade, juice the lime. Finely mince the garlic. Add both into a large bowl or a zipper bag with the soy sauce, honey, and vegetable oil. Mix until combined. Set aside 4 tbsp. of the marinade for basting later.
Step 2/4

- ½ kg chicken wings

- oven
 - baking sheet
 - parchment paper

Add the chicken wings to the marinade. Let marinate for at least 30 min. or up to 6 hrs. in the fridge. When ready for the next step, set the oven to 220°C/430°F. Line a baking sheet with baking paper.
Step 3/4

- ⅓ tbsp sesame seed (toasted, for serving)

- frying pan

Roast wings in the oven for 20–25 min., flipping once halfway through. Once the wings have a dark golden brown color, and the juice runs clear when poked with a knife, they are ready. If you want more color, turn on the grilling function for a few minutes, but watch closely so they don’t burn. In the meantime, toast some sesame seeds for serving.
Step 4/4
/images.kitchenstories.io/wagtailOriginalImages/R2682-photo-step-4.jpg)
- ⅓ tbsp sesame seed (toasted, for serving)
 - ⅓ lime

Place the wings on a serving plate and brush with some more leftover marinade. Top with toasted sesame seeds and serve with lime wedges.
Enjoy your meal!
