Olive, cheese and ham cake

1 bowl (large), 1 oven, 1 whisk, 1 rubber spatula, 1 grater (optional), 1 knife, loaf pan

- 41⅔ g flour
 - 1 g baking powder
 - ⅛ pinch pepper
 
- 1 bowl (large)
 - 1 oven
 
Preheat the oven to 180°C. In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder and pepper.

- ½ eggs
 - 1⅔ cl oil
 - 1⅔ cl milk
 
- 1 whisk
 
Add eggs, milk, oil and mix well. (You can also replace milk with white wine)

- 25 g ham
 - 6⅔ olives
 - 16⅔ g cheese
 
- 1 rubber spatula
 - 1 grater (optional)
 - 1 knife
 
Slice the olives, and cut the ham in small pieces. Chop or grate the cheese : here I used goat's cheese, but usually it is made with Gruyère or Emmental. Incorporate to the batter.

Pour the batter into a loaf pan. Bake for approx. 40min at 180°C. (Or until a knife inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.)

Serve warm or at room temperature as an aperitif or a starter, with a salad. Great also for picnics and lunches on-the-go.
