Double Chocolate Banana Bread
Ingredients
Step 1/6
Preheat your oven to 350F (180C) and grease a loaf pan, set aside.
Step 2/6
- 3 g unsweetened cocoa powder
 - 15 g flour
 - ⅛ tsp baking soda
 - ⅛ tsp baking powder
 - ⅛ pinch salt
 
Combine all dry ingredients (except the sugars) in a bowl and set aside.
Step 3/6
- ⅛ zucchini
 - ⅛ banana
 
Mash the banana and shred the zucchini, set both aside. Also chunk a chocolate bar, measure size and amount of chunks by heart.
Step 4/6
- 14⅔ ml vegetable oil
 - 8⅓ g white sugar
 - 9⅛ g brown sugar
 - ⅛ egg
 - ⅛ tsp vanilla extract
 
Whisk together the oil and sugars. Add vanilla extract first, then egg and the mashed banana.
Step 5/6
- chocolate chunks
 
Stir in the zucchini shreds until well combined. Gently fold in the dry ingredient-mix. When only a few flour streaks left, add 2/3 of the chunks to the bowl and fold until all flour is mixed in.
Step 6/6
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Sprinkle the remaining chocolate chunks on top and bake the loaf for about 50 minutes. Test with a toothpick for doneness.
